This notice applies to all information collected by or submitted to the websites of Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries, Goodwill Industries of Metropolitan Chicago, Inc. Goodwill Retail Services, Inc., Goodwill Manufacturing, Inc. and Goodwill TalentBridge, LLC (“Goodwill”).

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

   Your privacy is important to us. To best protect it and to provide you with the most accurate notice of how our data systems and your online choices affect your privacy, we make this notice easy to find, on our homepage and at every point where your personal information may be requested or submitted. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We may use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser or sponsor the number of individuals who visited a certain page on our website, or the individual numbers of men and women that completed our registration forms, but we do not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals. Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the actual request or transaction. Anytime you request to be put on one of our mailing lists, email marketing lists or sms (text messaging) lists, you’ll be provided with an opportunity to opt-out.

   Protecting the privacy of minors is especially important. For that reason, we don’t collect or maintain information from those we actually know are under 13.

3. The Information We Collect

   Our websites provide you with opportunities to interact with Goodwill in a variety of ways. You can contact us with comments, questions or requests; contribute financially to our mission; register to receive materials; or apply to join our Goodwill team. Below, we’ve pulled together the different types of information that you are able to share with us on our different webpages.

   1. When you contact us with comments, questions, or want to volunteer with Goodwill

      When you contact us, you generally submit the following contact information:

      • Name
      • Address
      • Email Address
      • Phone Number
      • Mobile Number
      We use your contact information to contact you regarding your comment, question, or request. We do not store this contact information, unless we are legally obligated to do so, and we do not use it to send you promotional materials unless you have specifically requested them. If you become part of a Goodwill mailing, email or sms (text messaging) list, we will always provide you with an option to opt-out or discontinue at your will.
   2. When you contribute financially online to Goodwill’s mission

      When you contribute to Goodwill financially, besides your contact information, you submit the following information:

      • Gift amount, date, and any gift restrictions requested by the donor
      • Requests to receive event invitations, newsletters, and other periodic updates
      We use this information to communicate with you to complete your transactions, to update you on events and achievements by Goodwill, to provide information on volunteer opportunities and to periodically determine your interest in providing additional support for Goodwill.
      
      We do not sell, rent or exchange donors' personal information. We use donors' personal information for internal purposes only: to advance the charitable mission and activities of Goodwill and/or to process your donation transaction. We do not share your personal information with outside parties, except to the extent necessary to complete that donation transaction.
      
      On occasion, Goodwill lists the names of its donors in its annual report or other publications. Donors may contact us to request that they not be included in such lists. Donors may contact us at any time if they wish to be removed from our mailing list.
   3. When you apply online to work for Goodwill

      When you submit data online to apply for a position with Goodwill, on http://www.goodwillgreatermc.org/, you are transferred to a secured site run by a third party. The third party securely collects and stores the data you share and provides the information to Goodwill and its’ subsidiary organizations for employment purposes.
      
      Goodwill may access and deactivate/remove profiles that are abused, misused, or inactive.

4. When you join Club Goodwill Rewards

   Joining Club Goodwill REwards provides you the opportunity to receive exclusive discounts and access to members-only sales. When you sign up for Club Goodwill REwards at one of our Retail Store & Donation Centers, you submit information about yourself which helps us determine the promotions and sales in which you might like to participate. This information is stored securely and internally with Goodwill; our members’ information is never sold, rented, or exchanged to third parties. You’ll receive a membership card giving you access to exclusive sales and promotions.
